This blog is about my quest to inform the public about how to prevent childhood obesity and early onset of type II diabetes in children. Discussions will go anywhere from prevention strategies, theories, methods, healthy recipes, facts and figures. Why I am interested in this subject and all branches of other complications? Because it is a public health issue that is not only sweeping the nation, but all over the world! Children are in urgent need to prevent the spiraling chain of events and other health issues that arise from obesity and early onset type II diabetes.
